For some reason my PS4 is refusing to connect to my Orbi WiFi network. It has previously worked fine (though I haven’t used it in a while). When I go through the network configuration I get a long pause after entering the password and then the message “Cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network within the time limit.” appears. He is probably actually talking about the PS4 itself (and not his router) which will show on the network as a hotspot of its own. Two things: 1. PS4 does not support 5GHz. If you must, use an ethernet cable. You can also buy a 5GHz Access Point that will connect to your 5GHz Router, and connect the PS4 to the Access Point using an ethernet cable.
